New Peter, Bjorn & John Video - "Nothing To Worry About"

thumbnail icon: New Peter, Bjorn & John Video - "Nothing To Worry About"

The older, darker Peter Bjorn & John curse like sailors, sport mustaches, adorn their walls with trophy kills, and repeatedly tells us we've got "Nothing To Worry About." The video for said single, ably directed by Andreas and Filip Nilsson, continues in that grown-up direction, following the adventures of a dude with a huge pompadour, collection of leather jackets, appetite for booze, and gang of like-minded, fleet-footed greasers. PB&J, the new rockabilly.

Living Thing is out 3/30 in the UK via Wichita and 3/31 in the US via Almost Gold Recordings/StarTime International. The tour:

One of the more righteous videos I have seen in a while.

The video is cool but the song is very, very blah. I wonder if there new album will be anything like the first. Sounds like it wont.

Pretty sure you mixed up which was "cool" and which was "very, very blah."

Wow...this video is amusing and yet it fits so nicely with the song. Ever since I first heard 'Nothing To Worry About', I got the sense of being in a different culture. Especially with the background vocals of children and the distinct percussion.

I get the feeling it's going to fall somewhere between Writer's Block and Seaside Rock, as far as the sound. I like the two new tracks I've heard a lot.
