New Sean Bones Video - "Dancehall" (Stereogum Premiere)
Sean Bones is the solo reggae-influenced (and Clash, Police-esque) project of Sam Champion guitarist and actor Sean Sullivan. In a week and change he's releasing RINGS, his 11-track full-length debut, via Frenchkiss. The first single "Dancehall" plays an integral part of this Lance Edmands-directed video. It was shot in Brooklyn and finds a DIY Bones using his skateboard to deliver a "Dancehall" reel-to-reel to the pressing plant right after a session and just before rushing elsewhere with the freshly pressed 12" in tow.
The fruits of his labor:

RINGS is out 7/21 via Frenchkiss. You'll hear more at MySpace.

The instrumental sounds dope, but his white boy voice sounds odd against it.
