New Ting Tings Video - "That's Not My Name"

thumbnail icon: New Ting Tings Video - "That's Not My Name"

It's hard for me to think of Ting Tings as anything more than a band created to sell Mac products and appear on children's programs, but there are adults who listen to them outside their jingles: the BBC and experts of British descent, for instance. We Started Nothing's "That's Not My Name" is a pretty popular song. The UK duo excel at glossy visuals. This video -- complete with glow-in-the-dark "Hollaback" drum line and jump ropers and two well-dressed Tings -- should do the trick.

We'll locate a universal embed ASAP.

We Started Nothing is out via Columbia. You can see them in person:

The LA Riots remix is the only way I can listen to this song. This video is useless

I liked that song. Then I got like 4 seconds into the video and it's just too much.

Yeah Gum, please don't cover bands once they achieve a modicum of success. Once a group becomes popular we should pretend it doesn't exist. Only the indiest of the indie plz!

this is one of the most annoying songs I've ever heard, it's like your ears want to turn themselves inside out!

Who cares if they've gotten successful? They're loud, they're catchy, and they're very Now. Just roll with it and get your undies out of a bunch.

When I hear the start of "That's not my name" on the radio, I usually have time to change the station. But if I catch it in the middle, I find it hard to reach the knob before spontaneously exclaiming "SHUT THE F*** UP!" at the radio. It is the most annoying song I've heard in a long time.
