Norwegian All-Stars Cover Cover McCartney's XMas Tune

thumbnail icon: Norwegian All-Stars Cover Cover McCartney's XMas Tune

Earlier this week on the Norwegian TV show Lydverket Lindstrøm, Ane Brun, and Thom Hell topped the list of the year's Best Norwegian Artists. In celebration, they teamed up on a cover of Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime." Through the magic of technology, Ane actually delivered her vocals from Stockholm, where she now resides, but this video pieces all the studio footage together. It is probably my third favorite take on the tune, after Macca's original and J. Lo's.

Via Eardrums.

Fingers crossed for 1349 covering Wham! next year.

Admittedly, they do it better. Oh well.

Both covers suck

The original is better.

Ohhh Please Lindström make a 20 minute long edit with a great epic-feelgood-christmas-ecstasy climax for future generations to dance and kiss to under a misteltoe
