Oasis And Choir Close Out Electric Proms

thumbnail icon: Oasis And Choir Close Out Electric Proms

Fresh off the release of Dig Out Your Soul, Oasis are making sure no one ever sneaks up on stage to topple Noel/make Liam do a Frasier impression ever again: The Gallaghers closed out the BBC's five-day 2008 Electric Proms festival in London with a large choir aka the Crouch End Festival Chorus aka a posse. We have video of the extended "Champagne Supernova" as well as a Beatles cover. Both are long, have a choir, and get louder at the end (i.e. they are "climactic").

Before that, they did "I Am The Walrus" with the goo goo g'joob chorus.

That is the most unflattering camera angle ever. it makes Liam look 50.

They did it better back in 1995, before Liam's throat fell apart
