Painfully Short New Interpol Clips

Get psyched, Interpol fans. We're less than a month away from the release of Our Love To Admire, out on Capitol 7/10 (7/4 in Japan!). For the none of you who haven't heard "The Heinrich Maneuver," it's streaming at the boys' redesigned website. The "clips" section houses a thirty second preview of "Pioneer To The Falls." And if you can handle that rock tease, you'll love these other blips. The soundbites fly by quickly, but there's three tracks from Our Love to admire in abbreviated form, with images, to get you in the mood for post-punk safari. First up is "Scale," in which Paul sounds less like Paul (which is to say he sounds less like Ian) than we're used to.

Two more after the jump. Don't act like you don't have the time for 'em.

"Lighthouse"

"Rest My Chemistry"

It would be premature -- even for us -- to form an opinion based on so little. But it's a good sign that we're desperate to hear more. And to renew our subscription to National Geographic.

'Heinrich Manouvre' had me a bit disinterested in this new Interpol album but these clips sound more like their good stuff..

This band is on Capital Records right? And why are we helping promote them here? The label can't do that?!!!

Quit Your Day Job: Megafaun

Raleigh-via-Eau Clair BTW Megafaun debuted impressively earlier this year with Bury The Square. The trio nip-and-tuck experimental tendencies (tape splicing, white noise colliding with banjo, junkyard-laced spring reverb, screeching feedback at the tail end of a quiet back porch lament)...
