Radiohead Go Green For Conan

As part of NBC's week of environmentally-conscious themed programming, Late Night literally went "green" last night by booking Seth Green, Peter Greenberg, and Green Apple Quick Step Radiohead. Instead of flying to New York (carbon footprint equivalent to driving a car for a year) the band pre-recorded "House Of Cards" in London. "Recycle your shopping bags, Co-nan."

Lovely, guys. Can't wait to see 'em outside this summer, if only 'cause Thom is cracking up from being holed up in a basement. That inaugural Late Night performance ("Creep") from '93 is after the jump. "I really like these guys," said Conan.

Radiohead and Conan O'Brien... two of my favorite things... brought together to SAVE THE GODDAMN PLANET. Cool.

You can say "twat" on NBC now? Somebody'd better tell George Carlin.

Twat was beeped on TV. This is one my faves from the older days, though

Also, Conan has impeccable taste in music. He only compliments the really stellar acts. When MMJ performed "One Big Holiday" he was clearly impressed and went as far as to say "I'm buying that record." Seriously, Conan should start a music blog.

Which twat is he talking about? Our last two presidents didn't sign Kyoto.

@Larry -- Knowing Thom, the comment is probably aimed at the current twat in the oval office...

Last nites performance was so amazing, those guys just keep getting better and more complex. That song is like audio heroin without the negative effects.
