Ray LaMontagne, Damien Rice Cover Bee Gees

Who needs Lisa Hannigan when you've got Ray LaMontagne? Ajee alerts us to the kings of coffee shop troubadours' cover of Bee Gees' "To Love Somebody," performed for French television show Taratata. Beautiful -- but then again, Ray could cover anything and we'd be amazed.

UPDATE: If ya likey, head to I Am Fuel, You Are Friends for MP3.

Lisa Hannigan should be out with her solo record sometime this year. Anyone got a scoop?

Pretty much the only good track on Billy Corgan's solo album was his cover of this song.

Yeah, the two face thing was unnecessary. It was like a two-headed monster of acoustic-driven angst.

Stereogum, as much as I love you, for a while now you've been posting videos/tour dates/various memes and announcements weeks after the internet at large has passed them around. Get on the ball. Because I love you.

I agree about the two headedness... Made it look like they were singing to each other... Ray is the man still in my book, but I be even he thought it was odd. Ray brought me to where I could see again. Jennifer Hill is what I listen to the most... Thanks Ray...

haha, these comments about the two faces together cracked me up! But mostly, these two together makes me REALLY want to slit my wrists instead of just wanting to. I say that because they are so awesome. :)

That was real soul. Fantastic.
The two faces thing was bad though...
Perhaps they should release more stuff under name of "Men with beards"

These are the artists people will cherish when they are long gone. The public doesn't realize how incredibly talented they really are! It's precious to experience these true masters in my lifetime.
