Ryan Adams Is Styled Up

Since we have no idea what's going on here, let's just dive into the vid's description:

new frontiers are created as out hero's, "The Cardinals" forge on into the sunset of new dimensions of sound and sight. Here we see them in their natural habitat, "the electric egg" their trusty home away from home. Feel the vibrations.
Ry's new song. It's called "Styled-Up." And it involves a paper mask and just a little growling.

Can't quite explain that rubbernecking need to see more, right? Don't. Just click.

Fortunately the new EP Follow The Lights is good and sounds nothing like this. Check out some 90-second clips over at losthighway.

I love the R.R. but that's just not very amusing or awesome.

I just laughed so hard my roommate gave me a very weird look. I think she's worried about my sanity.

as much as i love the guy.. i wish random stoned/drunk meanderings and gruntings werent worthy of a post on my beloved gum..

literally.. the guy grunted and sputtered.. and now like 2,000 extra people are gonna see it... kind of freaky in a way. i guess it pays to be a indie-rock-superstar--- ie, if i made a video of myself taking a shit and playing the ukulele no one would give a flying fuck!

that being said.. i still watched the whole fucking thing

The new EP is pretty great. But he's still a jackass for storming off the stage after an hour when I saw him in Minneapolis in September. And when I saw him in Minneapolis in 2003.

So....um. At frist I view I thought he was back on the drugs. Now I realize this is what has taken their place. Interesting. Curious. Strange.

Glad he's sharing his antics on keeping himself entertained without the drugs with the masses. Much love, much love.
