Stephen Colbert And Paul McCartney Trade Unpleasantries • In the first of his new four-part series "Better Know A Beatle," Stephen sits down with Liverpudlian knight Paul McCartney. The interview does not go smoothly it is all very antagonistic (wink) but by the end we know who is Paul's favorite Beatle and that the Dalai Lama might be a cannibal. Watch.

Steven has a great voice... It's just such a shame that the other guy started singing too. Now I know why Steven hasn't heard of that band, The Beetles... They probably suck. If Steven doesn't listen, I don't listen. It's that simple.

i thought paul would have been a bit more keen as to what the show was. because he seemed so unaware, i thought steven was being kind of mean, but i figure they talked about it afterward and i was able to sleep last night.

This was actually pretty good. Wouldn't have thought Paul McCartney would've been too hip to this type of humour, but he played it just as well as Colbert. Perhaps too well as some comments would suggest.
