Stereogum Gets Hyphy With E-40

We spent some time on the red carpet at last night's MTV Video Music Awards. It's difficult to interview Shakira and James Blunt when they're running past you, but Bay Area rapper E-40 was kind enough to answer our stupid questions.

Dude's got so many projects (check out MySpace), but we're most looking forward to E-40's Dictionary Book of Slang, Vol. 1. We're Ballaholics.

Ah, so now you're doing interviews Scott.

Just start vlogging already, even if it means you don't show your face and use a puppet instead. W

i've been a devoted stereogum reader for a couple years now, but now you're starting to annoy me. the interview was bugging me. snakes on a plane?! um, wasn't that a few weeks ago?

then i watched the rapture video and i realized you were in the front row with a camera filming the whole thing so you could post it on your blog and it made me lose some respect. go easy "scott", you're putting it on a little thick.

oh yeah and "shane" maybe if "scott" would have been filming it from the back row, would that have given him more "street cred" for you?!!
