Supergrass, Magic Numbers Play "Guilty Pleasures"

Earlier this month, Supergrass, Magic Numbers, Kelly Osbourne, KT Tunstall, the Feeling, Craig David, and others, extended the UK's "Guilty Pleasures" radio show and parties to an ITV program about musical, yes, guilty pleasures. Osbourne played "Total Eclipse Of The Heart," Tunstall did John Farnham's "You're The Voice," David took on Terence Trent D'Arby's "If You Let Me Stay," etc. Wonder if some of the bands feel bad that their "guilty pleasures" are better than any song they've ever written? One cover that worked pretty well is the Magic Numbers' "Islands In The Stream." "Pretty well" because they just don't have the vocal depth of Parton (especially) and Rogers.

Two's a trend! Maybe this kick starts a Dolly 'n' Kenny reunion tour (though, creepy face-lifted Kenny isn't at all the same). Then, as if we haven't heard enough about Thriller recently, Supergrass, as the Diamond Hoo Ha Men, did "Beat It." It's amazing they're not dropping this "Hoo Ha" shtick...

The tuneless audience clapping's whiter than the outfits the guys are wearing. Well, at least everyone's having fun.

Why in God's name would anyone feel guilty about enjoying "Beat It"?

Supergrass don't really have a choice about the Diamond Hoo Ha men thing. Their bass player BROKE HIS BACK (ahem) so he has been a little out of sorts for awhile. I personally think it's a creative way of dealing with something that could have sidelined the band and a great example of Supergrass' resilience and natural humour. That said, I can't wait to see them back to their old strength. In fact it should be even better now that Gaz's OTHER brother has joined them on backing vocals tambourine and hopefully guitar.

Supergrass covering "Beat It" in the style of the White Stripes? Now I've seen it all, really.

Wow, this is a really good cover. Love it.
Does anyone know where to find the tabs for this cover? Been searching on google and can't find anything.
