SXSW: Peter Morén Performs At PASTE/Stereogum Party

As previously mentioned, Peter Morén brought a blissful, mellow close to the opening day of our Volume party. Tunes from his prematurely enjoyed Last Tycoon sounded great live, especially with the addition of local strings players. (Probably cheaper than bringing them over from Sweden.) Here's "Tell Me In Time":

And "Reel To Real" (sans clanging bells) is next.

Y'know, I wasn't super into his solo stuff at first, but the songs I've heard have totally grown on me. "Le Petit Coeur" is really pretty.

Personally, I think he's pretty great. Anyone who says otherwise is being just a little bit quick to judge.

these songs seem pretty dreamy to me but if he needs augmentation, i'm available for whistling, hand claps, ass slaps..
