The Shins Busk In Montmontre, Paris
The Blogothèque crew continue their string of outstanding Take Away Shows (recently The National, Arcade Fire) with the Shins, performing five songs from across their catalogue while at the picturesque tourist trap/artist colony Montmartre in Paris. On the first vid, the band delivers "Gone For Good" and "Turn On Me."
On the next clip, the band offers up a cut from each of their records, playing Chutes Too Narrow's "Turn A Square," Oh, Inverted World's "Past And Pending," and the criminally catchy "Australia." The clip opens with the Shins having a little fun, taking a mariachi soundtracked stroll. Vid after the jump.

The mariachi take is actually a cover of Calexico's cover of "Alone Again Or".

It's just a cover of the Love song; the original is already pretty mariachied-out.
I think these guys have been watching a lot of Bottle Rocket lately: first the "Australia" video and now them covering a song that plays when Anthony bangs Inez for the first time. "Ca-caw! Ca-caw!"
