I don't think this is all that funny. The Neil Armstrong gag is lame, and that's all Will's got.

So, did Lance partake in the doping in cycling, or not?

Guess I don't like his schtick, then.

See I thought the funny part of the Morningwood clip was that fact that they actually allowed the horrid piece of shit band to actually record their "music" and broadcast it on valuable national television. Wow! how F-U-C-K-I-N-G terrible is that band...Really?

Well, Morningwood is funnier than Jay Leno.

$20 says Hasselhoff owns that CD, and got it autographed.

I like that new Muse video, not keen on the track though apart from the whammy intro and the break towards the end (in the middle of those awful high pitched parts).

wow that morningwood video was appalling. her stage antics make her seem seriously short bus

Wow- morningwood sounds like shit. Just another new york band that got shit into the hipster bars of Brooklyn and foced onto clear channel via Capitol. Thanks, assholes. Her stage presence is emberassing. Karen O-Souxsie Sous do it with better backing music.

the chick from the Today show breaking out the freestyle Russian kick dance was clearly the "funny video" as intended by the purveyors of this fine site.

In the Morningwood clip, the chick from the Today show breaking out the freestyle Russian kick dance is what makes the video funny

Thanks for filling us in on what makes that video funny Evan!!! I think everyone was just overwhelmed on how bad of a performance it was to see the true humor.

The girl from Morningwood is the female counterpart to the guy from Electric Six. But the Electric Six has "Dance Commander", so they win.

Wow. After watching that Morningwood clip I'm actually ashamed to be alive. I halfway enjoyed some of the songs off that album in a harmless, Jet/Electric Six/Wolfmother kind of way, but my god, that live performance was awful!

How the fuck does a band like Moringwood not only get a record deal but get on tv? Their beastly lead singer is fucking terrible, dancing around, girating, and such. Goddamn that was awful.

Who knew Jay Leno knew how to pogo?

I didn't think that was so bad. Her voice is less annoying than Karen O's. That lyric was horrible (was it really "jet set music letter"?). It's somewhat refreshing to see someone on a stage who actually moves around. And was that a guitar solo? Too bad the song sucks.

this-is-a-jet-setter-music-letter

Yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of Morningwood considering they're doing something that has been done, much better, countless times before. I'll agree about the brutal lyrics. This makes me remember how seven months ago, everyone was debating over which one would triumph in 2006: Morningwood or We Are Scientists? I'm thinking WAS now...ahem, but anyway, that Muse vid is funny!!!

morningwood is a good example of what a&r guys at majors think
"rock and roll" is all about...

i mean-- artifice and theatrics are cool if it's david bowie or queen-- but this just comes off as really craptastic.

by comparison, there's a yeah yeah yeahs vid from letterman a year or so back (on youtube) and it's like, karen o is jumping around and having fun in a really awesome way. like, you can't help but feel like "good for you-- i'm so GLAD you're on t.v."
