Vampire Weekend Show Letterman How To Be "A-Punk"

You always hear talk about how cold Letterman keeps the Ed Sullivan theater, so Rostam's scarf and Ezra's sweater vest cardigan (thanks, Mom!) makes good sense. Or maybe it's just that the kids got fashion & style. Nice performance, sweet come hither Koenig looks. Looks like the boys won Dave over in the process. Definitely not Lefsetz, though.

Vampire Weekend is out now via XL.

I love how Dave always says "ladies-eh gentlemen" as opposed to "ladies and gentlemen" or even just "ladies n gentlemen."

He is soooo over it.

I couldn't agree more with that Lefsetz diatribe. It's hard to be enthusiastic over stuff you know you'll forget about in a couple months.

I don't see Vampire Weekend as bad, but definitely nothing special & definitely not worthy of the copious press they get.

FFS where do you draw the line from just having an opinion to being a bunch of odious music snobs. some of you are cunts of the highest order. Go jerk off over your Black Mountain albums or that super rare John Fahey boot you found in the dumpster in Memphis.
