Watch Trent Reznor Sign 2,500 CDs

thumbnail icon: Watch Trent Reznor Sign 2,500 CDs

When Trent blogged about "Discipline" Tuesday night, some of you were amused by this part of his post:

We're considering a real-time live webcast of me signing 2,500 copies of the just-arrived, super-ultra-mega-deluxe GHOSTS edition all day Thursday. These really turned out great and I can't wait to sign EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

"I don't care who you are, no one looks forward to signing 2,500 of anything," Matthew commented. Fair enough. As for that webcast, looks like all we're gonna get is this video, called "Spend the day with us: Watch this 2500 times."

At least he's got Les Rythmes Digitales, and not just Ghosts I-IV.

2,500 not 25,000 as stated in the headline, right?

That book actually looks pretty nice. It almost makes me regret not shelling out $700 to buy it.

And this guy had the nerve to talk trash about Radiohead.

I don't think Reznor was really starting shit with Radiohead, I think he was just pointing out that the bit rate for the mp3 downloads was crap. I agree with him, if you were one of the few that paid for the download, you were getting cheated because you were getting a low bit-rate. At least NIN gave an option of choosing the quality of the MP3's. Anyway, people probably don't give a shit about high-fidelity now days. Little hipsters only care about being able to fit all their music on their precious little iPod, so everyone can see how cool they are.... By the way the deluxe version of Ghosts was $300 and not $700.

$300?...Is that silver ink made with real silver?

BAE, your attempt at an insult failed miserably.

People, get over what Trent said about Radiohead and stop blowing it out of proportion. Trent has been outspoken about his love of Radiohead for years. Isn't the man allowed to make a criticism?

It's amazing what sobriety has done to the former king of procrastination.

I've done book signings before and even just signing a couple hundred books is tedious and tiresome no matter how much you appreciate the sales. I suspect it will be less draining since Reznor and crew won't have to talk to people as they sign.

Does he hold his pen funny or is it just me? Looks like they didn't catch that in kindergarten
