What A Rip-Off

When it comes to pop plagiarism, we're not surprised to learn about the "borrowed" ideas of Pink and Jessica Simpson.

But Jack, how could you? White Stripes' Slipknot rip-off revelealed!

It's indie rock, not Project Runway! Get your own ideas.

I can see how it *might* sync up, but it's not that great. Where does one find this garbage anyways? (And I'm not just talking about what they're wearing)

I don't get it. What's the joke? That "Hotel Yorba" sort-of, kinda, not really syncs up to a Slipknot SNL performance? Now, maybe if you showed me a White Stripes performance that synched up with a Slipknot song, maybe we've got something.

I liked it. It highlights just how patently ridiculous Slipknot is.

(And how "aw, Grampa's got the radio on!" the White Stripes are. Seriously, what's up with that song, and why isn't there a kazoo solo in it?)

Those guys are hilarious. Grown men in monster masks headbanging ferociously to their own shitty music. Someone tell them that KISS isn't that cool anymore.

I would have to agree with fred it was funny to watch and I think that was the only point of the post. Have you people never heard of sarcasm, which was obvious in this post? If not :
sarcasm |ˈsärˌkazəm| noun the use of irony to mock or convey contempt : his voice, hardened by sarcasm, could not hide his resentment. See note at wit .

The funny thing is, is that song really does sound like it coulda been on an album by Country Joe and the Fish thirty years ago.

I'd be more impressed with a video that shows that rip off.
