When It Comes To (Drive) Shafts, Santogold Likes Them Big
Following in the steps of bands you know, like Vampire Weekend and Death Cab For Cutie, Santogold gets her very own week of promo on MTV under the network's 52 Bands/52 Weeks initiative. They're bringing music back! Which means she gets her very own shot at acting in a 30-second blip. It's not quite whirlyball, and it's not quite a safe sex PSA, but it's got girth all the same. Santi's in a garage talking to her ladies (including Amanda Blank) about how she "only drives full size" and "the bigger the better" and "you know what I'm talking about, right?" but I'm pretty sure it's all a metaphor for penises because I am always the best at sniffing out penis metaphors.
