Well, for starters he's a hopeless, court-skipping druggie who has no place on Kate Moss' speed dial (stick with Lindsay Kate ... she's a good influence!). But in this BBC3 rock doc, his "friends" have nice things to say and shed some light on the rocker behind the shambles. I loved the Libertines--LOVED them. It's unfortunate how they were so often compared to the Strokes, because I think they were miles above them, in terms of songwriting and some of the best live shows I've seen. Anyway, I can't watch that documentary or listen to Babyshambles, because it makes me sad. Fuck Pete Doherty for ruining a good thing. He's completely out of control; hope he gets better.

Peter Doherty is one of the smartest people in the world who is to say hes not a musical genius just because he dabbles in drugs does not make him a low life he is a creative genius. john lennon did heroin and he is recodnised as one of the greatest song writers of all time in my opinion peter doherty is in perfect equality with john he is a creative genius who only come along once in a blue moon everyone should appreciate his music and his talent as a writer

Pete Doherty is a talented man. He is a musician, and a good one at that. Theres god knows how many other people smacked up to their eye balls on drugs everyday and nobody bats an eyelash at those people do they? No. I reckon he deserves a bit of praise for what he's good at. Besides, i doubt his 'bad habbits' are effecting any of your lives.
