Yelle Jumps Up And Down A Lot In U.S. Debut
Last night French electro-pop dance-storm Yelle showed up and rocked the Knitting Factory. We weren't there, but this video shot by occasional Stereogum photographer Abbey Braden for 'Sup offers a pretty good idea of the night's festivities.
Tecktonik. Definitely "A Cause Des Garçons," or at least a cause for celebration. Yeah, we know no French. But we do know "Je Veux Te Voir." French readers, what are your thoughts on the Yelle sensation? BV posted something funny -- a conversation with a French friend about whether Yelle is popular there... "A: yeah, among
PRE-TEENS." Maybe that's how Sweden feels about Robyn.
