With his packed schedule of quidditch practice, potions homework, and battles with pesky Death Eaters, Harry Potter probably doesn't have time to start a band. But he does have fans who will do that for him, in particular brothers Paul DeGeorge, 26, and Joe DeGeorge, 18, who don Brit schoolboy duds and rock out—mainly at libraries and bookstores—as the group Harry and the Potters.Listen here. Both brothers appear on stage as Harry, and they sing original tunes—with titles like "My Teacher Is a Werewolf" and "The Wrath of Hermione"—from the boy wizard's perspective. "Harry is very independent with a DIY [do-it-yourself] mentality," Paul explains. "He's very punk rock."

They are indeed the awesomeness. Actually, I'm glad to see they're getting a bit more coverage - I've known them since forever and even got them to play at my school here in the UK. You can read about it on their site. A splendid time was had by all.

Holy shit...they came to my school this past year. They put on a great show and as soon as I found out about their tour...I posted it on my blog. OH, and if you're interested in hearing The Management, the band on tour with Of Montreal, let me know and I'll send some tunes your way. They are sure to be on the O.C. in no time.
Anyways, back to Harry and the Potters. Best. Band. Ever.

I saw them last month when they played the Cambridge River Festival. I just happened to be around as they followed a band I had went there to see. Their music is interesting and they do rock.
