Razorlight Vs. The Hoff

You may have heard about the folks at gethasselhofftonumber1.com and their mission to bring Mr. Knight Rider's "Jump In My Car" to the top of the charts.

Razorlight are not amused. Via their MySpace blog:

HELP US STOP THE HOFF
Category: Music

Friends of Razorlight,

We need your help to STOP THE HOFF!

A campaign to drive Dave Hasselhoff and his single Jump In My Car to the Number One spot this Sunday is threatening to stop Razorlight's chances of hitting the top with new single "America"

Don't let The Hoff keep a great Razorlight track from #1!!

Please help us by buying America - all formats include brand new Razorlight tracks - online.

Or download.

We salute you.

Razorlight

Thanks Brooklyn Ski Club for the link. We think Razorlight's trying to be cheeky. But they have no idea what they're up against. Check out BWE for way more Hoff news than we care to summarize.

A more important issue: Is Knight Rider really possibly going to top the UK charts? Is it even conceivable that he'll chart at all? Yes?

So now tell me why the Brits always act like they're so superior to us, when their taste is so bad.

I'd rather listen to David Hasslehoff than the new Razorlight stuff. "America" is terrible.

I cannot figure out how I feel about Razorlight... cause seriously... "In The Morning" was a pretty good single (minus that bit at the end where it sounds like a Michael Jackson song)!
