Hahh.. I remember seeing Danzig when I was in the 10th grade at the Phantasy Theatre in Lakewood. Some kid (probably not much older than me) dove off stage and apparently had Danzig's mic cord wrapped around his leg as he jumped into the crowd pulling Danzig's mic away from him. Danzig reaches out into the audience and punches the kid. I've never liked him since!

Hey yall. . .It looks as if the big boy turned away after he knocked him down. Shouldn't he have went for the kill when he had the chance? It is obvious Danzig could have turned him into a deli classic sandwich. Maybe Danny was unhappy 'cause he did not drop enough turds in the morning and he was feeling un-even. Here's the thing, Danzig is over 50 years old and this danny fellow looked to be at leats ten years younger than him, now I dont care who you are but wehen you have those odds against you you have a good chance of going down, second, if you watch the video closely Danzig didn't go down because of the punch, his legs were also hit by the fat guy's fat middrift, also after Danzig is down you can't see danny anywhere... where did he go? could it be that danzig could easily had gotten up and wailed danny right in his face ? ya possibly, but maybe not maybe danzig just went down, Danzig has been in his fair share of fights and has won a good number of them so give the guy some slack, and finally danny had about three feet to charge forward with all his weight behind that little fist to put a bunch of extra hurting on the punch, so in retrospect this isn't such a big deal.

I am from the UK and fuck me .. you Americans (not authentic - you killed all of them ages ago) don't half talk a lot of shite - I have been to a fir few gigs as a guest of the band and there is always a photographer or these days a guy with a video cam - that's because they are there primarily to shoot the band - when Danny went to see Danzig of course his camera man would come to - hence the footage - shit I am surprised thre is not more footage from press etc. - the fight was real and the punch was real - Danny caught Danzig a cracker to the side of the jaw - it's basic boking knowledge - you get hit hard there you go down - Ali went down from this kinda punch - he got back up often, we can see Danny walks away quickly because Danzig fans are surrounding him - Danzig gets up - the most shouting can be heard from a shreiking Danny - they never get a chance to a proper fight, so you can't judge how hard one is against the other - Danzig was surrounded by his body gaurds straight away and like a professional did not, or was not allowed to go after Danny - IT WAS JUST A LUCKY PUNCH - in a fair fight where Danzig could get back up at Danny he would FUCK him - Danzig is much fitter and Danny is fat and has no stamina - maybe they will set up a grudge match - I think if they do Danny will turn it down (Danzig can fight in an open ring - he has the technique and force even though he is older) because he knows he would lose - he is a coward - hit and run merchants always are - all Danzig did was push him like 'speak to the hand' - ask yourself does that warrant a smash in the jaw or maybe a push in return - of course Danny and NSK were getting on Danzig's tits, they had been pestering him all night - it was a favour him putting them on the bill - leaving them off the bill was a decision Danzig made because most people had come to see him - now I am not totally condoning Danzig losing his temper, but it was spur of the moment not to impress his fans - Danny had been in his face for ages the fat fuck - Danzig does not need to impress his fans - Danny may want to but I don't think it will garner him any more than five minutes of fame - what Danzig needs to do is accept he got caught off gaurd by a lucky punch on a right sweet spot and that he could not get back up at the guy this time - there will be another time, just wait - as for Satan protecting Danzig - like does God protect the millions dying in Africa - nahhh I think if thre is any God or Satan they think let them get on with it - so don't bring that into it - the satnic thing is just for show - can you imagine danny against a member of Mayhem - even he could punch all that skinny lot out in one go - in the end up 'Danzig, wait your time - ruin his already fucked up little career and then walk into a bar when he is slouching in his own piss and break his neck'

No wonder danzig was disgusted-some little faceless band who has not earned respect should never ask a headlining act to compromise their set or to delay their set, if its offered great, but dont ask-it is ridiculous.

First off, I am probaly the biggest danzig fan here. I will say after watching that video, i was pissed, a true dark metal legend gets punched out by some fat nu metal punk who didnt even mean to hurt anyone, although i am a fan of danzig i say that, that was really embarrasing and before taking action on anything, i would go attack the cocksucker who filmed the shit...stupid little ass punk tryin to make a buck prolly got a good laugh, anyway the worst part is, that people make comments on danzig an shit not knowing how his condition was or what was on his mind or anything, im not in denial, it was clear he got his face punched, but for most danzig fans it wont be the same listening to "killer wolf" or "dirty black summer". Danzig was simply wrong to act like that. Being in the music industry myself, I've been in many situations much like this one. The opening bands get bumped off, so they decide to give the headliner shit about it. Sometimes fights happen, but usually it's the ones who get booted who start them. Danzig lost his 'satanic' temper and pushed a man twice the size of him. Why he did this, is unknown. The guy ran away because Danzig's security guards would have beaten him half to death. I'm not saying he's right for punching Glenn Danzig, because he's not. Infact that was the stupidest thing you could do in that situation. But that still doesn't mean the early Misfits frontman didn't deserve it. Danzig has been pulling shit like that for years. He's a moron with a temper. I've personally seen Glenn Danzig fight and it's a scary thing. He's built like a tank and in better shape then I will ever be in. All the shit about him being 12 years older than Danny from NSK, is bull. If it came down to a real fight, yeah, Danzig would win. But in this case, that egotistical prick got what he had coming.

I just saw that video yesterday and it was pretty intense. It looked real enough, but either way, it always sucks when somebody gets a beating..the good thing is that the guy that hit him didn't do what all the dicks do nowadays and hit him while he was down. Danzig started a fight, the NSKs guy finished it, that's it. The thing I don't like is that everyone on here is judging how cool or rocking a guy is based on his fighting ability. Glenn Danzig, whether you love the man or hate him for whatever reason, lets face facts.
If Glenn was some guy named Joe Smith, would anyone really give two shits who this fella from NSK hit? No. But the fact that he is Glenn Danzig makes it a big deal. Sure it was plain to see it was a publicity stunt, otherwise dopey wouldnt have been so quick to post the shit everywhere, including the video which was conveniently shot. He claimed he was clearing the air to avoid legal consequences. Ask yourself this though, what in the name of God/Satan would Danzig sue the man for? What could he possibly have that Glenn doesnt? Nothing, it was merely a good intro to say " hey look at this shit, I hit Glenn Danzig!"
Now fact is, Ive been a big fan of the 'fits, Samhain, and Danzig since my childhood. And you can surely say that the "Death Rock" scene that eventually became "Death Metal" and "Speed Metal" were clearly influenced by the man and his many creations.
Being a somewhat retired NHB tournament fighter it kills me that so many of you are making a big deal out of Glenn going down. Did you really think that it was impossible for him to get knocked down with one hit? Naive. One thing I learned throughout all my training is that with the right angle and placed on the right portion of the head/jaw area, any man will go down in one shot PERIOD! I fought at 190lbs. and beat many men the size of flubber there without much effort. Ive also lost a match here and there I should have won due to critical errors on my own behalf. Its not that big o' deal.It was clear to me that the guy got a good start coming off the wall leading into the punch and that Glenn really didnt see it coming. So what. The point is the North Side Kings are the talk today and blah, blah, blah, but are people really going to rush out and buy the music cause they want to hear the guy that hit Danzig play? Most likely not. Has Danzig sold millions of albums based only on his talent and marketing genius, and unmistakable voice? Yes. So Danny you can tell your kids someday about how you beat up this rock star guy one time in that " one band you played in along time ago" and in the mean time for generations to come popular bands will still be coming forward crediting the Misfits, Samhain and Glen Danzig for being a big influence on their musical beginnings just like Metallica and countless others already have.
Enjoy your 5 min. of fame, cause Ive already forgot the name of your band.

Danzig has no excuse. You idiots saying it was a "cheap shot" or a "sucker punch" are in DENIAL.

When you push someone or otherwise lay forceful hands on him, you are starting a fight and can expect to get hit. Danzig pushed the NSK guy and then braced himself for a reaction, never turning away. The NSK guy came back and punched Danzig's ass out.

Face it! Danzig is a glass-jawed pussy who tried to be tough but ended up getting publicly humiliated instead. He will not "even the score" or otherwise do anything else other than what he did in that video. If Danzig were capable of beating the NSK dude's ass, he would have done it here. Period.

Phuck.I wish I could find this video.Everyone talking about it has given me a good idea of what happened......I've got a bit of experience with this sort of stuff,I've been walloped on from behind in the back of my head by someone taller and heavier than myself who had ample time to get all set up and throw his punch.....It didnt knock me out,but it dazed the shit out of me for a few seconds,and as I got up from my seat to fight,the guards in the jail were already on top of me and the guy.Anyway,being into martial arts myself,and having a bit of experience,all I can say is that if its not a true knock out punch,physiologically KNOCKING YOU OUT,and you get up,youre gonna get up fighting mad if youve got just 1 nut in your sack.But when other people are there and break shit up,you dont get a chance to retaliate.Who knows what wouldve happened had there been no one willing to break up that fight before things got really interesting?The point is,it never really got to go on for as long as it should have,because a real ass whipping means time in the hospital for the loser and maybe both parties........
Yeah,the whole thing sounds like 2 guys acting like assholes,and one guy putting his hands on the other guy first provoking the physical conflict,but the other guy initiating conflict in the first place by being verbally confrontational....same story different day.....

To start off the whole thing was clearly planned. You can see that this guy is just waiting for the excuse to throw a punch at Glenn. When the time came he closed his eyes, swung a lumbering fist and got a lucky hit. And where did all this "knocked out" shit come from. Glenn gets back up within seconds! Take note of how this NSK guy gets the fuck out of there before Danzig can retaliate. How many other 50 year olds could take a punch from someone that many years younger and that many pounds heavier, and still stand? Most would just be destroyed. As for who would win in a real fight, let's take the Ultimate Fighting Championship as an example. The big, out of shape guy almost always loses to the smaller, leaner and more tightly muscled fighter. In conclusion, if Glenn Danzig and this guy were to have a real fight, where both of them knew the boundaries of their exchanges (or the lack thereof) and are equally prepared for each others attack, there is no question that Danzig would win. I doubt it would take long.

Danzig did go down!!! Stop making up stuff when he clearly went down!! He was also not knocked out! He was seen on the video sitting up. Now, i know everyone here thinks that they are the best fighter in the world and could have sidestepped a 350lb. man in the first punch of a fight, but you really couldn't. Given the fact that he was 350lbs and he had a four foot running start leading up to the punch, he had about 500lbs at least hitting him in the face. There isn't a person alive that wouldn't go down. It is a jackassy thing to push someones set back and we sitting here on out little computers don't know what happened before the camera was rolling. Was it planned? maybe! It Certainly is a possibility seeing as the camera man said "NORTH SIDE KINGS UNDEFEATED!!!" So Danzig fans, stop making shit up! He was not thinking about jail. He went down and Danny went off. That Danny guy is in a band that no one really listens to, and he has the nerve to go up to the main act that people are wanting to see, and bitch at him(when his own band is nothing and just an opening act). I was there, I saw the whole thing in person. I've been trying to tell people about it but no one listens to me. Here is what happened, NSKs were shooting a video at there show, when they couldn't play they (I guess) thought it would be good footage to attack Danzig. I was back stage and I heard them talking about when to do it, They knew that they had to have numbers by making sure that 1, Danzig was alone and 2, they had all of them in the room. I have seen the video many times, and let me say it's good editing on NSK part because you miss a lot in it. 1st the fat guy wasn't alone there were 3 others in the room one holding the camera and 2 other fat guys beside him with shitty tattoos. Every thing was staged, they all got in positions, and thats when the shit went down. You saw it in the video. It's hard to even notice but at the end of it, you can see Danzig kneeling, that's when their video person and the other guys talked some shit and left very quickly. With in 15 seconds Danzig was all his feet. If you don't believe me ask any one who was there and watch the video very close at the end, you will see he didn't get knocked out, just knocked goofy. He stood up rubbed his jaw and some guy from his band or stage crew came running in because I guess they heard about it. I have no clue who these people were but they were with Danzig. Danzig's crew split up in different ways, but the noth side kings who had already loaded up there shit were gone. That's all I know, and It's the truth.

I have giving it a lot of thought, and I think the reason they waiting till Danzig set was being taken down was because they knew that he would be nearly alone. What was odd about the whole thing was I couldn't tell if Danzig was pissed, in pain, in shock or any thing, he was just blank and talked very calm to his people.

I'm sure it was a publicity set up, I mean most people didn't even know who the nsks were, plus they even made shirts about it. Not that it matters but I've heard some people say Danzig didn't even move or block it, he did, I think the other guy was just taller and had longer arms. It's really hard to see in the video but he did put a block up. I don't believe in luck, so I don't think it was a lucky shot, maybe a cheap one, but magical luck didn't guide his arm like the force.

I'm not going to say that in a "street fight" (as some have said) Danzig would win, because who can really say that? I will say this though, it could have been ANY ONE in Danzig's shoes that night as long as they were famous it would have happened the same way.

It appears to me that this whole thing may have been somewhat staged. The video was obviously shot and edited by someone from the NSK camp.

I have two reasons for believing this:

First off, in Danny NSK's email message (posted on the Punkbands.com website at http://www.punkbands.com/index.php?id=7850) in which he brags that he "beat up Glenn Danzig," he says, "I confronted Mr. Danzig backsatge while he was signing autographs and told him I thought he was an asshole because of his "rockstar" attitude and no consideration twords the FEW other bands that got bumped off tonight."

The video begins in the middle of this exchange, apparently after the "asshole" remark was made, so obviously some of that has been edited out to make Danzig's push on Danny NSK appear less provoked.

Also, at the end of the video, some guy can be heard yelling "North Side Kings are undefeated!!!" This guy was alongside the cameraman in the midst of a throng of Danzig fans, cheering on the Danny NSK guy.

The reason I say it may have been somewhat staged, is because the NSK's had no control over what Danzig would do. If he hendled it coolly, there never would have been a video for them to post on the internet. Danzig really started the physical confrontation by pushing the NSK dude.

Here's how I imagine it must have gone down: the NSK's probably were pissed off about the way the show was run, so they decided to take the camera along and mix up some shit with Mr. Big Rockstar Glenn Danzig, in an attempt to capitalize on Danzig's self-made reputation for being a badass. Knowing Danzig has a bit of a short fuse, Danny NSK deliberately provoked him into starting something so they could capture it on camera. Danzig takes the bait, wanting to show off in front of his fans, and pushes the guy (which is really not cool, BTW. The NSK guy wasn't really even that close up in Danzig's face. He was clearly trying to be a tough guy) then stands there posing tough, as he is so good at doing. I don't think Danzig expected to get hit back, with all his fans behind him and everything. He certainly doesn't appear to act like a man trained in hand-to-hand combat. But then he probably didn't know about the movie camera, either. After the movie was shot, the NSK's edited it to look like the two men were just having a heated discussion when Danzig explodes, as opposed to a bunch of guys and a cameraman confronting Danzig looking to provoke a fight.

I think there's enough evidence in the video and the email to support the vie3 that this thing was intentionally set up by the NSK's, but Danzig really walked right into it by pushing the dude and then standing there with his chin out.

first of all i do bbelieve it s a setup by the guys of nsk. and danny does knock glenn to the floor but he didnt knock him out he got back up.

even though the movie didnt start at the beginning because of the editing by nsk.
You can still here danny provocing Danzig
You see glenn listening to danny and then he says something back, then danny begins cursing and disrespecting Danzig thats wenn danzig pushed him and just looks at him.
You can clearly see he wasnt expecting the punch but wenn danny almost hits his face you can see him putting his arm up the punch clearly hits him and he went down but he als went down beacause he put his arm up to try and block the punch so hé get ALL that weight of danny on his hand en face and thats why he went down.
(BTW danny is twice the weight of danzig if not more and he gets a running start wenn he punches danzig so NO one would stay up)
I dont think wenn someone pushes you will start a fight the push was just to say back off but because nsk staged this video he punches Danzig
and also the punch was given in less then a second so Danzig didnt see it coming and had no time to properly block the punch.

WOW. I just saw this as I dont keep up with almost was and never-have-beens. Who cares? first off that band north side kings sucks, no one comes to see any of those type of bands, everyone comes to see the headliner which is Danzig and why would this fat Danny dude come and pick on Danzig when thanks to him he's on that tour to begin with, if he had a problem he should have aproached matters in a much politer way instead of insulting Danzig calling him an asshole which was really uncalled for and of course anyone would be pissed off if someone came out of no where and started calling you names and try to pick a fight with ya just to make you look bad in the eyes of everyone you know? I mean why did he and his pal who taped the whole incident go off like a bunch of pussies and taped the whole incident and mouthed it off all over the internet? why couldn't he approach Danzig when he was alone and take matters in private instead of making a big scene in front of everyone making him look like he's all big and bad. Come on people, this is quite rediculous really.
NSK? North Side Knights? Who the fuck is this band
anyway? I've never heard of them and never heard
their music. I don't really know if they rock or
suck ass and could care less one way or the other.

Personally, I've seen the video many times and it
seems obvious to me that Danny was trying to get a
reaction out of Glenn. Now, anyone who knows just
a little bit about Danzig knows that he's hot headed
and YES, he's an asshole. He always has been and I
don't recall Glenn ever claiming that he's NOT an
asshole. In fact, if you ever watch any interviews
or documentary type videos about Glenn; you will
see that Glenn has pretty much always controlled
his bands. He writes the music, he writes the lyrics
and he MUST be the lead man.

If someone in his band doesn't like it, he basically
tells them to fuck off. In some cases, he doesn't
even allow other band members to add to and/or try
to improve the stuff Danzig writes, musically or
lyrically. From my understanding, he wrote ALL the
music and lyrics for the Misfits, Samhain and naturally,
Danzig. The man has talent and obviously wants the lime
light. He won't settle for anything less than being the
front man in any business venture he involves himself in.

He also runs his own record label, publishing company,
symphony/orchestra and is about to Direct/Produce his
own movie. He's also written music for Roy Orbison,
Johnny Cash, Metallica and others. Not to mention he's
also written/composed music soundtracks for a few Movies.
The Lost Boys comes to mind, I don't recall the others.

He's also done voice overs for an animated series on
Cartoon Network. With that said, who the hell is Danny
again? Um...what the hell is the North Side Knights?

Add to these facts, he has such determination that if
a band member can't play a rif that Glenn writes, Glenn
will play it himself whether it's on lead guitar, bass
or even percussion! I've even read/heard that the man
has recorded/mixed and played all the instruments for
one of the misfits (I think) albums because he was sick
and tired of waiting on all the band members to show up
& actually get together at the studio to record the album.
He didn't want to waste the precious studio time he had
paid for or acquired.

He's also an artist and designed the Misfits logo himself.
He also pressed his own albums, did his own marketing
and distributed his albums on his own because he didn't
want the record labels eating up all his profits. Which
is exactly what they (record labels) do and always have
done. In fact, he's had his own label everysince the
Misfits.

What have any of you Danzig Bashing idiots done with your
lives? And again, WHO is Danny from the NSK? What has he
done? He's a nobody and he's done nothing. Even the NSK
website sucks ass. Go ahead and take a look...

With all that said, it's clear that Glenn did get knocked
to the floor with one helluva Punch Danny landed on Danzigs'
cranium and NO it was NOT a sucker punch. It was an instant
reaction to being pushed around like a bitch. I wouldn't go
so far as to say he was knocked out
though. Within seconds he was back on his feet. Yes, all
you NSK fans..I know he was helped to his feet. But when
you are knocked out cold...you cannot standup even with
help of others.

I would also like to point out that Danzig and Danny were
both very childish in this entire incident. For one, if
Danny had any fucking brains he wouldn't have went backstage
all hot-headed with the intention of causing such a confrontation
while Danzig was trying to sign autographs. He would have
shown Danzig respect and discussed the situation in an adult
manner privately. In that case, his musical career would have
had a much better chance of succeeding considering the fact
that Danzig could have helped this moron make a name for himself
and his band in the music industry.

That's simply NOT going to happen now.

All you Danzig Haters can doubt it all you want. But I'm
just being honest and pointing out the facts here.

And Danzig, well...he's Danzig...he's always seemed a bit
childish and hot headed to me. Even in most of his interviews
he seems to act like a fucking teenager. And I'm talking about
even his recent ones.

Personally, I like...no, I LOVE much of Danzig's music and
I think he's a VERY talented artist. But he's still an asshole
and acts very childish.

However, that video definately plays out like Danny was intentionally
trying to piss Danzig off, probably hoping Danzig would kick
his ass. And had Danzig kicked the shit out of him, Danny most
likely would have sued the hell out of him. Think about it folks,
Danny was well aware of the rumors and believed that Danzig is a
black belt Instructor of Jeet Kune Do. He also knew that Danzig
has a bad temper. And he certainly didn't expect Danzig to hit
the floor after that first hit.

If you morons actually did a little research, you would see that
Danny himself even admits he wasn't really looking forward to feeling
the wrath of Danzig and he was surprised that Danzig went down.

To the idiot that thinks Danzig is a Pussy and would sue Danny...
WAKE THE FUCK UP! It's highly unlikely that Danzig would try to
sue considering the fact that NSK has nothing to sue for. Whereas,
Danzig on the other hand has millions. If anyone would be suing
anyone, it would have been Danny doing the sueing.

For Danny and the NSK to edit and upload the video and then post
it everywhere that would allow them was very childish and stupid
as well. WHY? Cuz now those morons have lessened their chance for
success even further. The've pissed off many immature Danzig fans
now. Which was obviously their target audience. If you don't think
so. Think about this, they were supposed to be one of the opening
acts for a DANZIG concert. DUH...they wanted Danzig fans to like
their music and winover some funs/customers. The've now pretty
much screwed themselves outta that chance by pulling this stupid
little publicity stunt. Morons!

They could still make it in the industry, but they made it much
harder on themselves for the few minutes of fame they gained.

Oh yeah, and I also believe that it was Stupid but typical for
Danzig to respond the way he did.

Face it folks...both parties were in the wrong and handled
the situation immaturely. But ultimately, I think NSK fucked
themselves over more than anything else.

I seen the video a year ago and danny says he knocked glenn out and his eyes rolled back and he was bleeding from the mouth well the video and his statement dont match at all and danzig barely gets hit and trips while trying to avoid the punch danzig while in the fits used to get punched and kicked in the face all the time at shows so im sure he's been hit harder then danny could hit him glenn has alot more to lose for wasting his time beating the shit out of anyone that punches him .

I love the Misfits, I like a few of Danzig's songs, and I have never heard of North Side Kings. Whatever, call me what you want but the fact of the matter is, Danzig deserved to get beat down. The reasons for this are: if you are dumb enough to fuck with somebody bigger than you, you deserve the ass beating. 2. I have seen a video of Danzig straight up assaulting members of the audience at one of his shows back in 93. That's bullshit. Take care of your fans, don't beat them up. Finding this on a google search about the incident...people crack me up about this whole thing. Not to say Glenn isn't cocky or anything, but cripes, that was a cheap shot from hell and the guy even admitted he started shit over nothing hope to get into a fight for publicity, didn't he?

I do MMA and K-1 stuff-I've been knocked out by some names let me tell you-and it doesn't matter if you're facing somebody, in a shouting match, pushing each other, whatever: you don't see a shot coming, you're getting knocked the fuck out. You're not expecting a shot, its even worse.

You know people say Glenn is a prick but I beg to differ. I was frying my balls of on LSD when I was 14 or 15 back in 94 and Glenn let me and my crazy GF back then on the bus WAYYYY late after the show. Like after he'd signed stuff and talked to fans and all of that. He was cool as shit, so was Eerie Von, letting my neurotic hippy girlfriend and my then pimple ridden fanboy ass hang out for a bit. When I was 16 Danzig & Trouble were supposed to play the local club. I didn't have any money and it was $18 to get in, which at the time, for a high school kid, was preetee fuckin expensive. I finally convinced my mom to give me the money at the very last minute. When we get there, Danzing had cancelled... why??? because the promoter booked "The Cycle Sluts From Hell" and he didnt' wanna "share" the stage with women. Show still went on, local hardcore heroes "Bloodbath" with Paul Romanko (Shadows Fall) & Jamey Pushbutton (x-Hatebreed) played and it was fuckin great!!!

everyone makes bad choices, rockstars included.(I know I have)
So I think it's safe to say that the cosequence is really just something to be expected, sorry Glen. Anyway, no matter how hot the argument appears to get, taking it up a notch to physical confrontation is really where it went wrong. Glen was obviously responcible for taking things up to that level probably because he thought Danny had no chance.
It's really just a good example to NOT underestimate with excessive confidence.

Danny was right to knock out this little Danzig bitch, NSK drove many hours to play a show and Glen shut the show down before they could perform. Danny was trying to ask Glen why he did this when he knew there were other bands that were supposed to play, and Glen got attitude and pushed him. NSK MUSIC - I'd never heard of the NSK until somebody passed me the link to the video of the fight. So I thought, what they heck, I'd check them out. They do not have a distinct sound or produce anything that makes me wanna buy their CD. So if it was staged as publicity, the music still is nothing more than any garage band produces. No disrespect to those that like it, but no thanks.

DANZIG MUSIC - I never heard of anything he did until Mother hit radio in the 90’s. No disrespect but I never bought a Danzig CD either. If you do not hear it on radio it is not making much money for either of these guys/bands (or more importantly their publisher or label for that matter). So maybe this is why these guys are so angry and wrapped so tight like a dang mouse-trap.

THE FIGHT – Guilty and ashamed, but I liked seeing the video of the fight. Everyone seems to love to see a fight - real or staged. Maybe we all are sick, or maybe everyone wants to see some form of atonement or punishment. Maybe nobody deserves a beatin’. Or worse, maybe we all have it coming and all deserve it. Thankful they didn’t produce handguns like that whole east coast west coast thing. Death all over nothing.

Personally, I have seen much violence and loss in my life, so I take the wise path always. Humble and grateful for being alive today no matter if I have nothing. My safety is more important that appeasing my own average ego or proving to anyone besides me that I'm a real "tough guy". Lots of tough guys die every day; I’ve watched many bleed out – enemies and friends alike. Unless one’s back is it to the wall, you can back out. If your back is to the wall then you will do what you must realizing you could lose my life by doing nothing, as sometimes you got not choice. Sometimes there is no place to back up to. This was not one of those times for either of these egomaniacs. Shame on them both.

Sometimes the other fella or fellas are faster or deadlier and have guns and knives and bombs and getting punched or killed is a hell of a price to pay for being stylish. Life is important, not our egos. Why do you think these guys have bodyguards – they know people wanna hurt em’.

No matter what they were arguing about. Glen did assault Danny. The other fella did not deserve to be shoved no matter how he might have been irritating Glen with. People can talk and argue without it getting physical. Most people cannot keep a cool head though and are ruled by emotions and not good sense. Then ya get this.

That Danny fella then punched Glen. He also could have backed down and swallowed his pride. Punching a person is also assault. No matter what, both are violent. Civilized people do not behave this way. Maybe some jail time or being shown what real tough guys have to endure will change their essence. Or it could just be all the steroids, booze, drugs, hamburgers and STDs rotting everyone's brains and social entropy.

Too bad about the punch Glen, you shouldn't shove people. To the two big baddies - that's assault fellas. Cops bring guns. Thanks to video cameras these two fellas should be locked up and left to sit and contemplate their actions. Like little kids made to go to their rooms, except jail comes with gang rape. Or a tour of duty on the font line in Iraq or Afghanistan might round out these spoiled babies characters. Champaign and daydreams have made us all weak. Alright I’ve waited enough time unlocking the riddles of socio-psychoticism and universal justice.

I know one thing... Danzig CAN fight. Maybe he was drunk in this video because I have witnessed him beating this huge mother fucker up and it was pretty brutal. That was the best night of my life. I too cannot believe this post is still going, let alone this entire subject. Nevertheless, I'm not immune to putting in my two cents so here it goes...

I'm an older person, and I don't know what constitutes an "ass kicking" these days, but I always thought it to be something where one person ends up with a black eye or some teeth missing.

I didn't see that in this video. I did see some obese nobody clip Glenn on the side of the chin and Glenn fall down. Partly, it appears, from losing his balance. If that's an ass kicking, then fights have certainly gone downhill from the 70's and 80's, when Glenn would get jumped and beat by more than one guy at once.

And yes, the North Side no one did indeed start this, we did not need to hear it from his own pathetic mouth to believe this. He gets up in the face of a person who has nothing to do with the other bands getting bumped WHY? To make a scene and get attention.

That said, Glenn certainly did overreact. I don't think this corpulent no-talent warranted a shove like that, despite calling him an asshole. However, history has shown that that is a typical Glenn response to people who try to make a such statement. Like it's been said so many times, this North Side hack just had to capitalize on that fact.

As for the tough guy image Glenn has fostered in his muscial life... it seems hard to believe that people cannot (or don't want to) see it for just that - an image. I hear a lot of 'he takes himself way too seriously...' Um, no, other people take him way too seriously!

I think it's pretty sad that the guy can't even live a normal life like the rest of us due to all the death threats he's gotten thoughout his life. I have friends in LA who've seen him out and about doing the most mundane things with a bodyguard hovering around.

I don't think I have to point out any of Glenn's accomplishments, or the fact that he has a killer work ethic to go along with his voice. I doubt he cares that he's playing to 1,000 instead of 10,000. He's making a good living by doing what he loves, and that's more than any of us can say.

Oh, and I have seen him live twice (in the late 80's and early 90's) and he brought it! Something tells me the only thing Danny is bringing these days is someone's order for pizza...
