I Hope This Ends In A Fist Fight

NME reports Jet have launched an attack on the Strokes, claiming that the New Yorkers have "lost any credibility." The Aussie rockers took the swipe following Julian Casablancas and co.'s recent comment to Rolling Stone saying: "Jet makes me not want to make music." Jet drummer Chris Cester retorted, saying: "They have lost any credibility from me." He added: "I think they made a pretty good record, but I can't listen to it anymore because I don't really dig 'em anymore [as people]."

I'll tell you, they're both shit live, so it would probably be best for them each to keep quiet.

I hope those dumbasses realize they're the hair bands of the new millenium. Soon to go the way of Sebastian Bach and Bret Michaels.

I vote for the fist fight. Strokes have the talent, but Chris Cester is too hot to lose.

Too bad that Jet can't use the English language properly. If, in their Fosters-addled little brains, they think the Strokes have lost "credibility", then all they're really saying is that they don't believe the Strokes any longer. The word they're looking for is "creditability", but I wouldn't expect any Australian halfwits to grasp the nuances of their own mother tongue.
