Fiery Furnaces Discuss Radiohead "Feud" Matthew Friedberger owns up to his unpopular Radiohead "fuck you" ("I don't have any time for them. There's a lot of music."). He also says he was misquoted but thinks self-censorship and "trying to control the context" are no fun. More at Vish Khanna.

Fiery Furnaces To Radiohead: "Fuck You" Matthew Friedberger clearly thought Radiohead wrote a song about American composer Harry Partch not UK old guy Harry Patch when he told them to fuck off for "brazenly and arbitrarily associating yourself with things that you know people consider cool." Bogus.

Peter Gabriel's first album in seven years is a Bob Ezrin-produced orchestral covers collection called Scratch My Back. Now Radiohead "Definitely" Releasing New CD Next Year RadioEd says Thom was misquoted: the band's not only interested in making an album, but also it will be out on CD and vinyl in 2010. They're going into the studio this winter, and "the music you make is definitely affected by what season it is."
