this is genius! solange is such a smart girl to cover this song which OBVIOUSLY alludes to R&B. I’m in love with this and might even be as bold as to say that i prefer it to the original.

For some reason, their harmonies aren’t as strong live as on the records. Ed’s mic is way louder than his bandmates’. Also, I like that girl’s voice, but why does she only have that one part? I would’ve liked to hear her sing a verse or something.

other than that, it’s good because it’s grizzly bear, but it’s not their best performance.

all i needed to hear was this one song and I already care exponentially more about this upcoming album then i could every try to care about their first album.

It really is almost bizarre how clear her skin is in person, even after sweating her brain out from a show..

I went to see St. Vincent over the summer in a tiny dive bar, and there was no way i could’ve known about the absolute genius of the concert i was about to see. She rocked the fuck out of that show – everything about it was mesmerizing. The lightshow was kickass, her band was TIGHT, and she is just one of the most fascinating and entertaining musicians to watch, and i wouldn’t have missed that concert for anything.

So yeah, you should probably just go with the Dead Weather.
