this is a great write-up of what Take Care feels like to most hip-hop enthusiasts. In summary, Drake knows what sells especially to the teenybopper hip-hop listeners (or as BigGhostFase calls them, the Estrogeneration, ha!). Amazing beats, super catchy hooks, and mediocre emotional lyrics that pull at teenage girls heart strings. Congrats to him on the success, but sorry you’re not a boss or a rap legend, not yet at least.

This is a pretty solid list compromised of various genres and I don’t know enough about some of the genres to disagree, however I do follow hip-hop and r&b very closely. I enjoy Drake’s music, however I feel there is some pull within the industry to really push Take Care to the forefront more so than any other hip-hop release. I have enjoyed Take Care so far, however I don’t see it as the #2 album on this list when you have solid efforts from Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Jay/Ye, ASAP Rocky, The Weeknd, especially Section.80 at 40?? Anyone else feeling this unusual push for Drake?

except for the fact that MBDTF was actually really good and Take Care is quite mediocre in comparison.
