Yeah, I agree with this P.E. completely. This album can most definitely be described as a kind of “hybrid” between Deerhunter and Atlas Sound. You can tell that Cox’ last Atlas Sound tour had quite an impact on his sound; and from what I’m hearing, we’re lucky that’s the case. Halcyon Digest will undoubtedly be among this years Top 10.

the walkmen are one of the most consistently great bands going right now.. i highly doubt this album will be a let-down for any true fans.
