Is Egypt 80 the second coming of Tahiti 80?
Yes.
It’s frozen on me twice, but that means I’ve listened to Art of Almost 3 times now, so that’s ok. Wish I could skip ahead back to my previous tracks, though.
The Titus Andronicus/Real Estate show was fun, they had Four Loko and a (belated) countdown and balloon drop.
Anyone who offers opinion as fact can’t be taken seriously.
So Far, So Good.
Fancy seeing you here.
A videogum crossover!
After reading this comment, I downloaded Freelance Whales, one of the worst musical decisions of my last few months. The banjo on the opening track was so promising, but then the singing started and I rushed to hit the skip button to see if it got better, it didn’t, I ended up on the floor in a pool of my own vomit. Needless to say, I give Freelance Whales two barfs up.
They also sound like a bunch of Jay Reatard cast-offs
I have a Middle East album from 2006…If they’re new, why isn’t Tame Impala on this list. If I never hear about how great Best Coast is again, I will live a peaceful life.
Haterz gonna Hate
Have they been hanging out with Tame Impala?
Alsatian Darn kept tricking me into thinking it was going somewhere a more interesting, like many of the tracks on Person Pitch do, so it’s a bit disappointing, but not unlistenable. The other two songs sounded great though, so whatevs.
Italics fail
Both the song and the video are a bit anti-climactic, but the sound is much more promising than Our Love to Admire
