Why can’t I stream this? The link takes me to a page in iTunes with just a picture of JT and the words “Justin Timberlake” and I am freaking out because I want to stream it.
Listened to this a few times since yesterday. I was the slightest bit weary that it couldn’t compete with Gorilla Manor but I’m very much satisfied. We’ll see if it has the same lasting effect on me though.
The last Dntel record ruled..
Tamborello isn’t exactly a one hit pony, I have faith in him to create something worthy of the name.

I was trying to follow this on Twitter last night but gave up pretty quick (I couldn’t tell if they were joking or not which kind of sums up DRs entire existence). Kind of a bummer as I dig them together more than separately but dig them enough separately to not be too bummed. Better to have two people doing what they want than one group doing what other people want.

Every time I put on Eskimo Snow I end up listening to it like 3 times in a row because it’s so good. I don’t think I could pick a favourite Why? record but definitely Eskimo Snow isn’t any worse than the others. They’re just different records.
This is the first track from her that I REALLY like.
I kind of hate her but the music’s good.

I really like “New York Cops” but it’s probably because I Heems rules and I’ve never actually heard anything off the original album. Why haven’t I listened to this album before? No idea.
And yet when I was in high school the kids who listened to “metal” (or what they considered metal.. a lot more “male energy” than the bands named in the article I guess, whatever) were the ones with long straightened hair wearing women’s pants. Whoah maybe power in music isn’t directly related to how loud it is.. an absurd idea probably.
I like both those songs and might prefer them to Dinner Bells and Same Ghost Every Night. Apologies was amazing, truly, but what Wolf Parade evolved into was equally as amazing in it’s own right. I don’t think the two albums can even be compared.
This is sad. But with Spencer and Dan having side projects that are just as good if not better, it’s not that sad. I haven’t really found anything by Spencer I haven’t loved to death except for Snakes Got A Leg, I guess.

Sounds really good though! Better sounding than Tomboy/Slow Motion..
The instrumental def. sounds like it began as a Figurine track or something.
I like it quite a bit more than Tattered Line Of String tho.
