i like lana del rey. She is safe. She isn’t really that weird or wild or crazy (except for maybe the tigers) but she really knows how to write a song.
this is an amazing list. I can’t imagine liking a lot of these covers but they’d at least be REALLY interesting. I’m amazed at how many people had the wherewithal and bravery to tackle a Bob Dylan cover. Of all people he just seems like someone no one covers very well….Though I’m sure Miley Cyrus will do a stellar job. :)

Did you really expect them to know? I feel like the internet separates social groups. There’s so much information people naturally filter what they get.
And I like the things you guys post so I follow Stereogum. But there’s lots of different people out there and it doesn’t really surprise me that some don’t know about Foster the People.
For example, some people legitimately (not ironically) like movies like Step Up 1-3, Fast & Furious 1-5 etc….maybe I’m making no sense….but I feel like I am…
I don’t like the pop ups. I’d like it more if they didn’t make that sound and there were less of them. But maybe I’m just not getting it. Either way, I hope this isn’t a new standard…the videos aren’t bad. They are entertaining. But…
