J’s musical style would have never jived with Nirvana anyway. He would’ve probably quit before Nevermind came out so there wouldn’t be any Mascis laden guitar solos to think about. Green Mind would still be released, but maybe a year or two later.

Pixies, JAMC, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, Wonder Stuff, Pavement, Morrissey….these artists were very active during the 90s IMO.
