this song is featured heavily in an early trailer for the Baz Luhrmann adaptation of “The Great Gatsby,” coming out later this year, and I’m not sure how that makes me feel. maybe awesome?
thank you. clearly none of these people ever saw a young dave at farm-aid or tearing up every single other show he played in the late 90′s, early 2000′s. if youve ever been there in person and heard dave scream out his “all along the watchtower,” you’d forget jimi hendrix and bob dylan ever did it first (and no, i do not think dave matthews is even 1/100th the musician of either of them)
wesley i love you. i feel like i am watching a fucking episode of portlandia reading all of these comments. Have you read – I READ IT TWO WEEKS AGO – did you read? i did NOT ilke how it ended – well have you read – OF COURSE I READ IT. good music is good music and your hatred for dave matthews is very clearly perpetuated by this ideal of him only being popular due to some blend of RIDICULOUSLY good luck and frat boy steez? you clearly have never seen him live.

i really, genuinely wanted to love these songs. i was really, genuinely disappointed. are these two songs a joke and annie just lost her voice for a little while so they decided to release a couple songs of fuzz? please give me more “paris is burning” annie clark.

to paraphrase kurt vonnegut, “any reviewer who expresses rage and loathing for a work of art is preposterous. he is like a person who has put on full armor and attacked a hot fudge sundae.”
also, a valley is, by definition, a low-lying area of land between hills and mountains.
