seriously… fuck off with this shit. If you honestly think Skrillex is quality music, you need to re-evaluate yourself. How on earth did the Stereogum editors let this piece get published. I guess I can now consider this blog a complete waste of time. I want to keep ranting, but then I’ll look as stupid as you do.

Hate on The Darkness all you want, but they’ve got the whole AOR era/70s glam thing nailed. Theyre a gimmick band, they know it, and they do it well.

The best player to be in a band for less than five years and quit because he was worried about other members’ drug use.

it looks like a tie-dye shirt regurgitated on their Colbert stage set. I guess they discovered neon for the first time recently.

ditto. at least they dont play it note for note. but then again they were on fallon a few months back playing some songs off that cover album….. which may have slightly inspired this whole ‘pink floyd week’. I saw them play dark side the only two times they played it live…. simply magical.

All of these stages had tops on them that that catch the wind like a parachute, and once that sucker starts to sway its hard to stop it. The engineering of outdoor stage events will change drastically in the near future.
