I went last year and had a great time. Raleigh has had trouble getting this sort of variety in the past and I’m very excited about this year’s lineup!
I hope one day we can have a world where Amanda Palmer stories won’t be stories on account of whatever stupid shit she does will be accepted as the norm for her.

Tyler isn’t a homophobe. He just doesn’t care about a lot of things, including word choice. Their is a difference between saying a word with hate and saying it in a different context.
That being said, based off the leak, Wolf didn’t really do much more for me then I thought it would. It didn’t suck but wasn’t really special either.

I wanted to see them at Hopscotch, but was busy. I was very surprised when I heard only ST 2 Lettaz showed up. I hope both of them put out some solo work soon!

I’m not one to declare anything “album of the year” until the year has actually elapsed, but I really have enjoyed this more than most of the other stuff put out this year. Shields was worth the wait!
I’m loving this album. Had it pre-ordered through Amazon for about 2 weeks and ever since it came I haven’t been able to stop listening to it. Only a few bands have debut albums which have captured my attention from the first listen as much as this one has. Matador always signs the coolest bands and Savages are no exception to that. Glad Stereogum gave it album of the week honors!
