Man, that YouTube comment thread is bizarre. People are unironically defending Nickelback, and calling them one of the best bands of all time. I don’t understand it at all; it’s like a foreign language to me.
This has to just be from tweens and the like, who don’t have any discerning music taste yet, right? And from people who don’t really listen to music? Right?

This is not nearly as bad as I would have expected from Rolling Stone. It’s missing a lot of albums I of course would have include, ala M83, Girls, WU LYF et al., but it doesn’t fill me with rage like I would have expected.

There’s no way Julian Casablancas’ album is overrated. Most underrated album of 2009.
