Find Me On:
Brilliant. Their best yet.
Usually I don’t bother to comment on these lists – because, well, to each their own.
But this list is absolutely brutal – one of the worst things this site has ever published.
Bloodbuzz Ohio was a rehash of the themes (musically and lyrically) from Boxer and the first indication of the National showing fatigue. Their best song ever? WOW.
Just out of curiosity, what is your source that either of these songs will be on the album? Both have been around for ages – I found them back in June and they were advertised as old then. They fit in much better with some of her old poppier stuff than the tracks on Born to Die – I really can’t see her putting either of these on the album.
That track listing also looks suspect. Where is ‘Without You’ for example, which Del Rey said would be on her album at her Toronto show…?
Marissa Nadler is a twit and this is once again another fantastic track.
Think this is my favourite of the new tracks – though Radio and Born 2 Die are pretty great as well.
She had an entire album as well as about a dozen other songs that are floating around the web. I haven’t been to her show yet so I am not sure if she is playing any of that old stuff or just the 10 or so new tracks that are going to be on her upcoming album.
