Some good acts to be sure, but there is very little novel about this list. If I want to hear Tear For Fears or Wire or Elvis Costello I’ll just go and listen to those artists. In that sense, most of these bands aren’t new at all; they’re simply safe. You certainly have your finger on the pulse of 2004, 1986, 1979, but not 2013.
