I feel like Parks and Rec shares a similar demographic to listeners of NMH.
That noise on Slow Motion is gonna take some getting used to. I like what he did with Tomboy though, including the loud effect in the beginning.
But The Suburbs actually did suck…
Yeah, but the single version was available online before. The album version is sooo much better.

More poppy that the Strokes songs I’m familiar with (mostly Is This It) but it’s not bad. Seems like it could be a crossover hit.
Contra is an awful album. Biggest prank ever pulled on the indie music community.

This album, and Arcade Fire in general, is boring and derivative. Funeral had some good moments, but in general they’re pretty mediocre.

Aside from Kanye, the rest of the list is pretty great. Definitely agree with LCD as number 2.

Agreed. People say Panda Bear is the “genius” behind Animal Collective, but the best AnCo songs are Avey Tare written and sung.
