I like them better live than on record, pleasant surprise.
The back up singers are from a much more interesting band -imo- called Paper Bird.
Love the Bill Hicks quote, love Bill.
But I agree with Old Thompson on this one.
Just moved to denver a few months back.
I am REALLY excited about this growing music scene. Denver is getting young(ish) people faster than any other city in US.
After living in Athens, GA for a few years I am extra excited to learn about the Neutral Milk Hotel connection.
…this performance was terrible though…
yeah… I saw her on Huffington Post today… and SNL last night… oh and she will be on Ellen soon.
I think the people who hate her are virgins who hate pretty girls because they are frightened by them.
Face to Face with Lana they would probably freeze up.
Cool video!
These guys are great live…
exactly, it feels like the person who wrote this has never been to Sacramento. I lived there for just over a year, it is a very boring place, but scuzzy? Not at all. It is actually way cleaner than LA, SF, San Jose, etc.
I lived in Athens GA for a year, they also have a tent city… like every other city in this country. The difference, Oprah visited Sacramento and featured their tent city on her show making it famous.
The Boise Area Code article was good, this is a joke. Feels lazy and half assed. Just my opinion.
Paul Schaffer stole the show…
What happened to Maynard?
Really haven’t liked anything he has done in a long time…
Rough start on Lotus Flower… Mix was a bit tough to listen to as well.
Staircase was much better.
Hope they step it up a notch for Colbert.
Gauntlet Hair is from Denver… (denver area)
I actually think that Vedder has aged gracefully. Really enjoy his transition into folk.
If you watch Cobain interviews he suggests that he was about to make the same move.
More acoustic, more neil youngish.
I remember that split too, I was a switcher who started as team PJ am moved over to Nirvana as I got a bit older.
$10 a month = $120 a year. Why would I pay that?
I can easily download torrents for free and if I like the music I will purchase it.
There are more elegant ways to advertise than is being done by Spotify. The advertisements are invasive are blatant which leads to obstruction of my workflow. Perhaps they could advertise when you are listening to tracks that you haven’t purchased…?…
Cheap Ass? I guess I should have know better than to contribute my opinion in a place like this.
People grow some BIG BALLS in comment sections
I think the links have limited invites… you can try mine.
I might be wrong though
Im not digging it. I would rather not deal with a barrage of advertisements that keep me from enjoying my music library that I already own…
The interface is nice, its really a shame that Coke pop ups distract me from my work when I just want to listen to some music and get some writing done.
I will be deleting this from my computer.

Jack Irons drumming on Yield really makes the album for me.
I agree with your list 100% ….1-5 at least… I dropped off at Riot Act.
I’m glad that someone at SG took the time to do this. PJ are way underrated.
