Great interview. Love the part about liking Pavement and Boston I constantly find myself at odds with “serious” music fans who put down rock bands that have had any degree of success.

Wow I wasn’t blown away by Brendan’s last two solo albums, but this is up there with any song on Lapalco. Sounds great!
Couldn’t agree more first time he’s tapped into that since “Black Sweat” at least three albums ago.
