Captain Murphy’s /Duality/ ???
Revolver. Hands down.
I’m pretty sure there isn’t a song called “Always” on the album /Always/. I’m also pretty sure this video is for “Honeysuckle.” By “pretty sure” I mean “100% certain.”
Love.
/Fight Club/ by Chuck Palahniuk
“The Trial.”
Be Quiet Mt. Heart Attack!
So it’s introduced with “Portland, Or” and features a guitarist that looks like Carrie Brownstien… It is just me, or does this video feel very “Portlandia?”
Thank, Nina; with comments like that, who needs comebacks!
They obviously just Googled “flamboyant gay singer.”
Different band.
Thundercat is one word. And why the fuck is he so tiny??
Suuns came out in 2010… and how did the Justice album make this list? Or any list?
I agree. How does one of the most hyped albums of the year end up being underrated and overlooked? Listen to “You Can Count On Me” with the lyric sheet and tell me it isn’t one of the most touching songs you’ve ever heard.
Ummm… Sufjan Stevens? Dude gets tons of love here and uses loads of Christian imagery in his lyrics. The difference between Stevens and Pearson? I dunno, talent?
Props for including Mikal Cronin and The Caretaker, but at least half of this list is garbage. Somewhere in there is a decent Top 25.
Justice made this list but M83 didn’t!? What a joke!!
Revolver, of course.
An anorexic Barbara Streisand.
Meddle, without a doubt.
Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer is not just my favorite of Montreal album, but my favorite album of all time.

There’s way too much /Speakerboxx/The Love Below/ on this list and the lack of “Spottieottiedopaliscious” is baffling. Also, “B.O.B.” at seven?
