The label said that both songs were recorded in 2006 and finished in 2012.
I don’t comment here regularly. Sorry I didn’t get all indignant about… what were we talking about?
They have several b-sides that are among their best. “Jenny, You’re Barely Alive” is my favorite.
Their appeal is a lot more broad than that. I know plenty of men that dig RK.
Any John Denver compilation without “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” is bullshit.
Lewis did all the backing vocals on the album except for the female lead on “Nothing Better”. Lewis did perform Wood’s part on “Nothing Better” live and she killed it. The KCRW recording bares that out.
Gibbard says more dates to come.
Damn it. I wanted to hear “The track he’s been playing that people keep asking about and that Joy used In his RA mix and Daphni played on some other show, not Boiler Room”.
If Stipe can bust “Losing My Religion” with Chris Martin, then this should get a pass too.
Not getting the broad Postal Service dislike in comments sections. I gotta stop reading comment sections for this and many other, far more important reasons.
That’s nice work for a kid, A?
At least five of those were fake, right?
Why is okay to cut interviews into the song performance? Hat that.
The Mountain Goats – Transcendental Youth.
Both sides are bad, but equally bad? That preposterous.
fantastic list and very good commentary about the tracks. Glad to see “Division Day” given its due. I am surprised no mentioned “Son of Sam”. That’s the song that cemented Elliott in my head after the initial curiosity caused by “Good WIll Hunting” and the Oscars.

Good list. I would have added “Goldmine Gutted” somewhere.
