More interviews like this please, Stereogum. Wonderful read.
Get Away – Dr. Dog
Because it hasn’t been released yet.
Wow, I did not mean that to come off as douchey as it did.
Girls, Bon Iver, M. Ward, Pulp, Real Estate and Yuck. I’ve seen some of the rest already.
Doctor Doggggggggg!
Love Is Heeeeeeeell!

It does sound like a Radiohead song, I thought that the first time I heard it. Amazing song.
This is the best article I’ve read on Stereogum in a while.
What is up with these comments? The lineup is great!
He’s holding the album wrong.
Maggot Brain – Funkadelic
The People’s Key – Bright Eyes
Yeah, Pavement isn’t on that clip. But it made me remember why I don’t watch TV anymore, so at least it was worth watching!
MMJ are confirming on a bunch of festivals. They’ll definitely play Bonnaroo, but Coachella?
Well… it was a great record, but it got really boring by the end. There were about 3 songs that I didn’t care about.
I can totally get down with this. I voted Titus because I knew everyone had Kanye and Arcade covered. Only exception is Joanna Newsom. She has a pretty voice and I’m sure she’s talented, but I can not get enough strength to digest her triple album or however long that shit is. Sufjan’s the best, bla, bla.
Here’s my top 25: http://thestrangulation.com/2010/12/22/the-strangulations-25-favorite-albums-of-2010/
Related: I was listening to Sufjan’s huge Christmas album yesterday and that shit is beautiful!
I immediately thought of Letting off the Happiness when I saw this cover. Ending where he began, perhaps?
False Priest is the most fun I’ve had with an album this year. It’s almost like comedy. Hissing Fauna and Skeletal Lamping felt much more tense, druggy and crazy; and I liked that Kevin Barnes, but I much prefer this funnier and playful version of him.
The Gummys have been the highlight of my year for the past couple years.
Oh wait, I just realized this list has no Spoon. Yeah, this list sucks.
