She sounds kind of childish honestly. I’m not a Gaga/Katy Perry/Keisha fan in anyway except select songs I find secretly and mildly enjoyable her remarks seem a little over the top. I Kissed a Girl is a pretty solid pop song what the fuck difference does it make if it plays on male fantasies? What’s wrong with male fantasies? (it’s the double edge of feminism, that claims underhandedly, basically women are better than men which is just as bad as misogyny.) But every other song she’s made I take serious issue with but it’s because the music is really terrible, offensively bad, meaningless consumer driven drivel. At least Gaga has the balls… to be weird, it’s not just a hat, her outfits go all out and sometime they are pretty interesting there is little difference in essence between her and performance art, she just makes a lot of money doing it and is really famous for it, just because her art kinda sucks and is shallow doesn’t mean it’s not art to Gaga nevertheless her antics lean a bit more towards publicity stunts than performance.
But in all seriousness Fuck Jason Mraz.

I don’t get the whole Weeknd load-blowing I mean there are some good tracks on there but at least 1/4 of it is just silliness. The same applies to James Blake, that album has 2 great songs a couple good ones and the rest is forgettable… but I suppose I could see how people would say that about Bon Iver.
As for my Summer Jamz so far I gotta go with:
Players Ballad – Big K.R.I.T. or Rave On – Cults
But I don’t think I have discovered my real summer jam yet.
Nikki Minaj is beyond awful. I can’t fathom how a more irritating, contrived and woefully unoriginal artist could ever exist. All of her ‘characters’ are just different artists styles she’s stolen because she’s incapable of synthesizing her influences and adding anything specifically ‘Nicki’. Super Bass is no exception the song is junk. A recycled Katy Perryesque chorus with her random always-cringe-worthy inflections as she tries to be Lil Kim or Busta. After all her gimmicks I can’t understand why anyone with any experience with hip-hop wouldn’t be thoroughly annoyed if not downright offended. But I’m glad you somehow find it enjoyable good for you.
Beth/rest is probably my 2nd favorite song on the album Perth being first. It sounds taken out of time, plucked straight from the brain of a young Peter Gabriel and merged with the present day Justin Vernon . If you think it’s cheesy or a joke that probably means you don’t have much of a grasp on music outside of the last decade, it’s called pastiche.
This band was never very good. 15 yrs later they are just plain bad, that solo literally made me lolz.
