I really love Baby Missiles by War on Drugs – my happy tune of the year!

Kendrick Lamar’s album is definitely my favourite hip-hop album of this year. Shabazz’s is also good. I will admit to not having heard all of Drake’s album.

Again, another list with some of my favourites of the year and lots omitted, how do all these lists keep getting it wrong…. FOR GOD’S SAKE – that’s the 4th list on the trot!!

I definitely agree with the nod for Tamer Animals & I have to add that I saw Other Lives live & thought they were phenomenal!

So much missing.. On a side note – Jay-Z & Kanye so high & no Kendrick Lamar or Shabazz Palaces – oops! There are some albums in there that I’ve really enjoyed this year but they’re all in the wrong order…

Really please for War on Drugs but there’s some stuff in there I wouldn’t have so highly & no mention of some of my favourites – Chapel Club, WU LYF, The Civil Wars, The Head & the Heart, Girls, Other Lives, Kendrick Lamar etc etc…. I’ve yet to look at the Q list but I have a feeling I know what I’m in for – Kasabian, Florence & Noel Gallagher per chance?

My song of the summer is 100% Anna Sun by Walk the Moon – the song is pure happiness!
