I’d have to say…
1. Clouds Taste Metallic, 2. Zaireeka, 3. Soft Bulletin, 4. In A Priest Driven Ambulance, 5. Yoshimi Battles…. 6. Transmissions
- Hearing people knock Zaireeka w/o listening to it properly frustrates me to no end
- Embryonic was challenging in a good way (despite fucked up videos)
- Telepathic Surgery is just an obnoxious album minus “Chrome Plated Suicide”
- AWWTM just made me confused
- The Coyne, Ivins, Drozd, Jones line-up was gollllden
Totally agree. SS was the first YLT record I listened to. It’s got a great flow to it.
This band is a juggernaut. Can’t do no wrong. Love em.

So surprised Avi Buffalo and Beach Fossils were pretty absent from any year-end list. Seems criminal.
“Lady Stardust bar none. “Lady Stardust sang his songs of darkness and disgrace.” Could it get any better?
Also, I never thought I’d say this but the saxophone on “Coronado” kicks ass!
I wish “Memory Boy” was at least 5 minutes long. They could’ve really gone all out with that one. after one listen my only complaint it that I wish it was longer. Just a super amazing first listen.
I believe it – just the amount of unofficial Deerhunter/Atlas Sound tracks from their blog is redonk.
