Find Me On:
In Rainbows is way too low on the list. You should really consider including a reader poll with these articles. By reading the comments, it seems like SG got this one wrong. Everybody knows that HTTT, PH and KOL are in the basement, while OKC, KA and IR are in the attic.
Rustie joined Passion Pit?
is it just me, or does anyone else feel slightly embarrassed for once liking this band?
All I want to do is watch a silly video of Das Racist. Yet i can’t because I live in Canada. So dumb.
I went to a show last night in Toronto. Zodiac (Jeremy Rose) was one of the headliners. All the opening bands (except for BADBADNOTGOOD,) were clearly trying to ride this R&B thing. Each act had some dude standing behind an apple laptop queuing up moody electro R&B beats in Ableton and a white MC trying to sound like Able or Drake. It was pretty corny, to be honest. BADBADNOTGOOD knocked it out of the park though.
Backing vocals were kinda weak. Decent performance, nonetheless.
Also the live version of Holocene is way more dynamic than the album version. I like it more.
The drums sounded great on Beth/Rest! Overall flawless performance. Night and Day when compared to the previous musical guest.
solid track, for sure
The jumping was kinda silly.
this band is terrible.
I gotta say this is a pretty good list. Pat on the back to stereogum readers.
This band is corny as fuck
This band needs a severe reality check.
Way to alienate your devoted readers Stereogum. Sounds like a great move.
couldn’t over come my curiosity… it’s actually not terrible.
I don’t know. This isn’t that good. I don’t think I’ll watch out for him.
this band is severely lame.
Already blogged about this last week:
this is embarrassing… why am I even commenting on this. wow
I can’t help but think of Kristen Wiig when I watch this. Weird, indeed.
this is so great.. thanks weezer for doing another cover! keep em coming!
Not really a fan of the album. But I thought this was a good performance.
So what happened to the fat one?
