I think he looks more and more like Woody Allen every time i see a picture of him.
Great song, probably my favorite song off the album, and an absolute pleasure to see live.
I am wondering the same exact thing. I liked Kill The Moonlight , but i find Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga to be absolute perfection.
Vocals were too low i think. But Cornerstone is definitely my favorite song off of Humbug.
Also, is Matt sporting a Stache now? Or was that YT’s low quality. I thought the facial hair was gone when Jamie shaved that beard that made him look well into his 30′s.
Wow thanks for writing such a long reply. A lot of good info for an MMJ newbie. Ill be sure to check out their early stuff as well as Evil Urges. I remember reading about the album not too long ago, and it seemed quite interesting, but i never got around to listening to it. But now after hearing Jim James with M.O.F. I really want to hear his stuff with MMJ.
Thanks for the info. Ill check it out.
Well i quite enjoyed that, and that really makes me want to go see them live 11/06 if i have money for tickets.
The album is all around pretty good i think. Some songs better than others, but most are good. I probably have a slight bias towards the Conor Oberst centered songs, since i’m a fan of his, but Jim James’ songs on the album are phenomenal, i hadn’t really had much exposure to him or MMJ but after listening to this album, i want to listen to their stuff. (Can Anyone recommend an MMJ Album?) As for M. Ward, he’s pretty good throughout too.
Best songs for me are probably : Dear God, Magic Marker, Temazcal, and Map of The World.
When i first heard about this album i thought ” has it really been that long since the red album?” Now i have to admit im somewhat excited for it. At first i thought it would be decent at best, and i don’t really like the single at all. But after seeing “I Dont Want To Let You Go” “Cant Stop Partying”, and “The Prettiest Girl In The Whole Wide World” on the tracklist im hoping it wont be that bad. I actually happen to like every Weezer album to some extent(even Make Believe), my favorites being Pinkerton and The Green Album.
I thought the same exact thing when i saw the picture.
Woah it’s Rivers Cuomo on the bass.
Wow, i went to the New York pop up store and it was not nearly as crowded as this one. But that could be either because the place was smaller and not nearly as visible, and because it wasn’t in a very crowded area. Also the color motif was different, instead of blue, it was yellow. and the Dead Weather put on an amazing show that day too , I recommend seeing them live to everyone.
Wow, i find the style of the artwork just amazing. Great video, with a great point. And lets not forget a great song by Modest Mouse.
Its called a talk box.
Noooo! How can Coldplay win Rock album!? It should have went to Kings of Leon or Raconteurs!
Oh Hell yes! Jonas Brothers Time! the highlight of the grammy’s for sure.
Hey guys guess what! the general store..is pretty general. .. i bet JT felt pretty retarded when no one laughed at that “joke” or what ever it was.
I wouldn’t say i prefer it more than Raphael’s singing but it wasn’t that bad either. I actually quite liked it.

I agree, I feel like White Sky should be the next song to get a video. Either that or Run. Both great songs. I never liked Vampire Weekend’s first album, but i actually grew to like Contra.
